Ian passed away peacefully on Friday the 15th of June.

With your help we will keep this website alive.  Ian had hoped that his large family might wish to grow the website .  If anyone would like to contribute anything, please feel free to contact me.  My children, for example, are planning an additional page with lots of content which we will link into the site.  If any other kids would like to have a crack at creating their own webpage, feel free to design one or contact me for help.  The topic of your webpage, in keeping with Ian's wishes, can contain anything of interest!

This is the story of my life, recorded and archived here to help me, my family, my friends and my acquaintances to see how we fit together as a large, beautiful family and community.

The story will evolve as we go along and as you suggest. But my wish is that it will best reflect those pieces of your lives, which you are happy to share with me on these pages. Thank you for your love, support, time and cuddles. I feel that they are all mine to keep and to share with the affection and love in which you gave them. Memories are made of these things.....

Below are some of the fascinating and wonderous people, places, times and memories in my life. It has been hard to think of a way to classify my family, so I have made a page with my past families back into history and then things separately about my children, step children, grand children and step grandchildren. It might change as it evolves, we shall see. Strangely there is also evolving a page of motor cycle riders which I had never, ever expected existed in my close relationships. See what happens whe you put things under the Sherlock Holmes magnifying glass!

My three beautiful daughters, Kristel, Amy and Angela with three equally beautiful grandchildren, Bella, and twins Owen and Lindsay.
Trish and I, just a little younger.
My Sisters and brother with mum and dad - close to 40 years ago now
Angela and Dane married on their back home terrace. Trish and I, much younger still Kristel and friends at her engagement party
Peter and Amelia married in their back garden. We had a big downpour of rain on their wedding day, so no-one minded bing a bit wet.
 Emma with dear old Gretel
Col, Fay, Pat and Teeshia at Teeshia and David's post Christmas Party

The Chinese Year of the Rooster at the Casino, wher Denise Drysdale and I had to do the daily judging of best Rooster. Some of my friends should have lined up, big smiles extra points! You wouldn't believe that most people were amazed at how soft the birds felt. Most had never patted a chook before!

My Darwin neice, Sophie, with her pet too.
The beautiful Hawk scultpure that guards the entrance to Melbourne's Docklands area.

The entrance to Butterfly Gully on a frosty morning.
Beck and I tucking into Kristel & Dan's Crays - Boxing Day. Dinner with great friends in our new "Tuscan" garden.
Peter with his beautiful non-prizewinning Red Rooster. He's a lovely bird with stunning bright chestnut orange neck hackles. A credit to his breeder and keepers.

Alan with his grand champion bird of the Royal Melbourne Show, 2005.

Coral and Norm stand at the Monument to Scott's visit to the Antarctica. A stunning record of his visit in what looks like a massive cast steel sculpture
Arlo arrives in the world as "SuperArlo".

Us with Julie

Thomas in fun mood with some face paints - blame his father!
Clem, Stephen, Georgia and Gabbie enjoying yum Italian cakes.
Michael trying to beat the candle lighter BBQ at George and Paulines for Walkers
My Sisters and Brother with mum at Val's 60th.
Mum with Col on their recent visit.
Our dear friend Leah, with great smile and endless inner love and warmth.
Trish and her sister Judy. Judy is a Queenslander Our Dear Friends who made this wonderful quilt for Trish and I. Hand signed as well - such a generous, amazing gift of love (See Friends Page for photos of the quilt being made). Michelle with her painting I gave Trish for her Birthday. Trish loves way she makes the paint move and gives the space a softness you could walk into.
My sculptural solution for the "Little Digger" site at Castlemaine's round about. Missed out on that one though.
Friend, Pat, with her new trendy "fast escape" nickers.
Karen with two of her paintings in the Castlemaine Festival. We have a different one in our Kitchen.
Bella, newly born, with glowing new mum, Kristel.
Great friend, Rob, in the sun of our "Tuscan Garden".
My brother, Robert, and I with mum and dad - we look 2 and 3 ish don't we?
A very dear old friend Michael. We met around the age of 8 in sunny Brisbane. Both a bit younger in spirit, but Michael still holds the lamp that lights many ways.

As you can see, I am having a bit of trouble fitting the whole world into the pictures and stories on these pages. More will be added as they fit and link pages will tell things with more story and style. Well, they'll try to. Noth much content there yet, so send me some photos and stories to add.

I have not put up my email address here, as you all already know it, and it stops lots of spam from arriving. I have not also put anything more than any person's first name, just to keep individual privacy to the highest level. However, if you would like to add some useful comment, or have something helpful to contribute, drop me a line to i_mullins@hotmail.com. I check this mailbox out from time to time. By semi-popular request, new pages called Recipes, Younger me, have been added. Please visit them and see what you can contribute.
